I’ve been trying all sorts of things to get more done in my life. I swear 24 hours in a day just isn’t enough. There are all sorts of systems out there for time management and getting things done. What I’ve done is come up with a system that works for me.

For me at least, it has to be simple and easy to manage. I’m not into these big complicated systems. I’m looking for simple, easy to use and for it to be effective.

I’ll be posting videos shortly of what I’ve come up with. For me, it’s helped to get more done, write more, come up with better ideas and even get in shape.

I know, I was going to do more writing…. Really and truly I have been, just not on this blog.

I’ve been working on several new sites as well as buying a couple of sites.
One I have just for fun is the coolest guy on the planet website.
This has been an ongoing thing for a few years now with different people coming and going in the top 10 positions.

One person has stuck at the top because he is a great seo guy. I like the guy in second place too.

Lets see how I can do at this….I’m now working on it…..

Two things to make you stop and think. If they don’t ring true with you, you need to re-read them.
They are 100% true and apply to everyone.

Paste these two things on a sticky note on the mirror you brush your teeth in front of each moring.
They will make you really think each monring.

1. If today was the last day of my life, would I be doing what I’m about to go do?

2. If I have a job I have to retire from, I’ve chosen the wrong profession.

I’ve told a couple of friends these two things. Some didn’t think it was funny, one actually got mad. Shows you how true they really are doesn’t it??

Now go do what you really want to do today. If you’ve been meaning to do something go do it. Buy a sports car, go on vacation, call an old friend. There may not be a tomorrow. LIVE TODAY.

I don’t know why I’ve never been to this place before. I’ve seen it for a couple of years now.
Spending a lot of time in Birmingham I get to eat at a lot of different places. for the past week, almost every day, I’ve eaten at Tazikis.
I love this place. They have a daily special every day. I’ve just went with that each day and I haven’t been disappointed yet.
I know, 5 days eating at the same place sounds boring and it would be at a lot of restaurants but not at this place.
It’s different at Tazikis. The food is healthy and very tasty. They have two locations that I know of. Both off of highway 280. One at the edge of MountainBrook and the other at the Colonade.

Anyhow, it seems I help Amazon.com stay in business. It never fails, a book or two or 5 show up at my house at least once a week.
Do I read them all? Well, no. I do skip and read the interesting parts. I see no reason in reading every page.
What books am I reading? I’ll try and put together a list in the next day or so and post it. I’ll even post the ones I have on the way that haven’t go here yet.

I guess I like the town we live in but to be honest, there’s just not too many places to eat here (at least good ones).
You can count the places I prefer to eat here on one hand. (Pruett’s BBQ, The Loop, etc)

We’re finally getting a restaurant along the same lines of ones they have in Birmingham.
It’s called “The Fish Market”. They have fresh seafood. It’s always the same. Fresh and quick. What more can you ask for? (except to be eating it in Destin
