This is probably my all time favorite book. It covers a little about marketing, etc but lays down the rules for business. Written by MJ DeMarco, the guy who built up Limos.com then sold it. This book is a winner all the way around.
This book rocks. No other way to put it. It’s not reading for the faint of heart. It’s a hard, hash look at the reality of making money, saving, retirement and more (which some people don’t want to face or deal with).
Right off the bat MJ talks about how “Getting rich slow, is getting rich old”. He calls in “Wealth in a Wheelchair”. He’s 100% correct. Ouch.
He’ll show you how what you and I have been taught our entire lives has been wrong. We were taught by well meaning, but people who were nonetheless wrong! I’m telling you from personal experience, from Kindergarten forward, we’ve been lied to. We were sold a false dream.
He’ll also share with you the 3 roads to wealth which are:
1. The Road Most Traveled: The Sidewalk
2. Mediocrity: The Slowlane Roadmap
3. Wealth: The Fastlane Roadmap
MJ will teach you the 5 things every business must have or you should pass on it. He calls these the NECST factors.
They are:
N: Need
E: Entry
C: Control
S: Scale
T: Time

I’ve bought several copies of this book for friends. When I was talking to other friends in the internet marketing arena, they had done the same thing for some of their friends. They’re aren’t very many books that are good enough people buy and give away to other people.
It’s that powerful.
